Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh dedicated developmental projects worth Rs. 12.17 crore online from Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidhayala (RKMV) Shimla today.
The Chief Minister inaugurated Administrative Block at RKMV, Shimla constructed with an outlay of Rs. 3.21 crore, dedicated renovated hostel at RKMV on which Rs. 25 lakh were spent, inaugurated renovated Badminton Hall at Chaura Maidan (Shimla) completed by spending Rs. 1.15 crore.
Shri Virbhadra Singh also dedicated 56 residential quarters for government employees at Nabha, Shimla constructed with an outlay of Rs. 7.56 crore.
He laid foundation stone of renovation of Wood Hall Cottage of Art, Language and Culture Department.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that State Government was committed to provide quality education to the students nearer to their homes. He said that Government was ensuring free education to girl students upto higher level and professional institutions were being opened in the State so that youth of the State could get good education within the State.
He said that children should also avail the facilities of State library coming up near Vidhan Sabha and this would be a digital library.
