Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh today inaugurated and laid foundation stone of various developmental projects online through video conferencing and telephonically from the State Secretariat.
He laid foundation stone of multipurpose building of Himachal Pradesh University to cost Rs. 1.63 crore. The four-storey building will house a canteen, crèche-cum-day-care center for the children of the working women of the University and guest house for retired employees of the University.
The Chief Minister laid foundation stone of Community Centre for Kohli Community at Rajhana in Shimla district.
He inaugurated a library, gym and a park in Rampur in district Shimla completed with an outlay of Rs. 1.33 crore, Rs. 22 lakh Lift Irrigation Scheme (LIS), Basti-Gunana in Gram panchayat Ghech in Kohbag in Shimla.
He inaugurated Lift Water Supply Scheme (LWSS) for Shaali Temple completed at a cost of Rs. 89 lakh and LWSS Thaila-Taloti-Khatnol completed with an outlay of Rs. 83 lakh in Shimla district. He also dedicated LWSS Kiari Khad to Khaloa in Gram Panchayat Anandpur on which a sum of Rs. 42 lakh have been spent.
He inaugurated additional accommodation of Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS) Ogli completed with the cost of Rs. 40.50 lakh, additional accommodation of Government High School (GHS) Domehar on which Rs. 40.50 lakh was spent.
The Chief Minister laid foundation stones of lift irrigation scheme Sandhoot-Kakret-Dhandhoot-Chedi-Lagdu-Salana to cost Rs. 5 crore, LIS for the villages of Khalag, Jhakdi and Khairi in Chanog and Dhamoon panchayats of Shimla district to cost Rs. 2.65 crore.
He also laid foundation stones of Science Block of GSSS Basantpur to be completed with a cost of Rs. 1.31 crore in Shimla district, Veterinary Dispensary Naavi to cost Rs. 25 lakh and Ayurveda Health Centre (AHC) at Kadaarghat in Shimla rural to cost Rs. 15 lakh.
The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones of around 37 developmental projects in Chopal Constituency, particularly in Nerwa Tehsil which includes opening and making BDO Office at Kupvi operational and foundation stone of Sports Hostel at Nerwa inauguration and up-gradation of Primary Health Centre (PHC) Chanehar, PHC Kinyathala (Kiran), PHC Irra in Gram Panchayat Khund-Neval, PHC Dhar Chandna, PHC Mattal, PHC Maraog upgraded to Community Health Centre, Health Sub Centre Bhot in Gram Panchayat Jhina, Health Sub Centre Deiya in Gram Panchayat Deiya Dochi and Health Sub Centre Shangroli.
He laid foundation stones of Fruit and Vegetable Terminal Subzi Mandi at Antrawali in Tehsil Nerwa to cost Rs 22 crore and Vegetable Collection Centre-cum-Sub Marketing Yards at Pulwahal, Kupvi and Chopal in Shimla district.
He announced making Police Post at Maraog in Chopal operational and starting of PG classes in government College Nerwa.
The Chief Minister inaugurated few buildings and up-gradation of schools in Chopal Assembly Constituency which includes inauguration of Government Senior Secondary School Rinjat, GSSS Bharan, GSSS Gyian, GSSS Dhatoli, GSSS Khuthar, GSSS Jhina, GHS Karati, GHS Bandur, Sanskrit College Sarahan in Chopal, inaugurated GMS Rupari in Gram Panchayat Bamta, GMS Samuhi in GP Kulag, GMS Lachog in GP Poriya. He inaugurated new Primary Schools which include GPS Ashadhar in GP Manjholi, GPS Dalodi in GP Dhar Chandna, GPS Shiyar in GP Mashoraon, GPS Feja-Bag in GP Kiran.
The Chief Minister laid foundation stones of Kuthar to Pundar road, 2nd phase of Thot to Naali road in Theog, 2nd phase of Tihana to Padgeyan road in Theog. He laid foundation stones of a bridge on Dunali-Klonse road in Bharmour Sub Division of District Chamba to cost Rs. 1.83 crore, bridge across Hured Nallah on Mehla-Bhagair road to cost Rs 2.07 crore, bridge across river Ravi on Mehla-Bhagair road to cost Rs. 4.4 crore in Bharmour Constituency.
He dedicated and laid foundation stone of Upper Tiari road to cost Rs.1.60 crore, Dunali Kalonse road costing Rs. 3.16 crore, Mehal-Lakda-Bandla road costing 2.19 crore and dedicated Kee Nallah to Kuthed road costing Rs.2.55 crore. He also performed online Bhoomi Poojan of Bakani-Dharveta road costing Rs. 4.95 crore and inaugurated a road from Kodla to Andrehad road costing Rs. 2.19 crore.
The Chief Minister dedicated a bridge across Baldu Khad on Ghared-Patta road.
He laid foundation stone of 132 KV Electric Sub Station at Bijhari in Hamirpur district to cost Rs. 26.32 crore which will benefit a population of 1.52 lakh of 652 villages of Bijhari and Badsar tehsils of Hamirpur district and Jhanduta tehsil of district Bilaspur. It will also solve the low voltage problem of running various irrigational schemes.
He also laid foundation stone of Rs. 3.60 Crore bridge over Jaboti –Seer Khad in Jahoo in Hamirpur district. He also announced starting of community health centre Bijhdi, inaugurated PHC at Garli completed a cost of Rs. 75.70 lakh, inaugurated a bridge Khawaja Khad on which a sum of Rs. 1.80 crore has been spent and announced opening of office of sub tehsil Bhota and civil hospital Badsar.
