Here is the schedule of Pak general election 2018….

Pakistan’s Constitution states that elections to both national and provincial assemblies need to be held within 60 days following the day its term expires.The election will take place in 3 constituencies of the Islamabad Capital Territory followed by Punjab 141, Sindh 61, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 39, Balochistan 16 and 12 constituencies in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
Election schedule

  • June 19: Scrutiny of nomination papers to be completed by the ROs.
  • June 22: Last date for filing appeals against the acceptance or rejection of nomination papers.
  • June 27: Last date for a decision on the appeals by election tribunals.
  • June 28: Revised lists of nominated candidates will be published.
  • June 29: Last date for withdrawal of candidature.
  • June 30: The date for allocation of electoral symbols and publication of the final list of contesting candidates.

Opinion poll done by Gallup Pakistan

  • Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has secured 38 % votes. It seems to have a 13% lead over PTI.
  • Pakistan Peoples Party (PTI) has secured 25% votes.
  • Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PPP) has gained 15% votes altogether.
  • Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Jamiat Ulema-e Islam (F), Awami National Party (ANP) and others have managed to gain 22% votes together.
