“The trade war waged by the United States is against both the law of the market and the development trend of today’ s world. It undermines the interests of the Chinese and American people, the interests of companies and the interests of the people all over the world,” said the Chinese spokesperson.The trade war was set off by the US when it decided to hike the tariffs on products coming into the US. In case of China US President Donald Trump had also accused Beijing of intellectual copyright theft.
Trump’s logic in the whole tariff affair is that other countries including the US allies , China, India are taking advantage of US leniency which is harming the American companies . He says that many countries are levying high tariffs on US products impacting US exports .
