She described the act as “a chilling act of mass murder, it was an act of hatred and above all it was an act of evil.”
During the press conference Sanders also accused the media of wrongly blaming Trump for a mail bomb plot and a deadly weekend shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue. She said that the first thing the president did was condemn the attacks and the first thing the media did was blame the President.The accused who was shot and wounded in a gun battle with police on Saturday at Tree of Life synagogue appeared in a federal courthouse in a wheelchair on Monday. The authorities said he expressed hatred of Jews during the rampage and later told police, “I just want to kill Jews” and “All these Jews need to die.
