Demonstrators, led by right-wing Peruvian Congressman Roberto Vieira, toured eight blocks before arriving at the Brazilian embassy in Lima.

Speaking to reporters, Vieira said, “all those who betrayed the Peruvians must fall, the presidents, the politicians, the businessmen, all those who sold themselves fall.”

“Odebrecht must pay something fair that does not make fun of the Peruvians,” he added.

“It is a national shame, that the greatest thief in our history continues to work here in the year of the fight against corruption and impunity.”

Vieira delivered a letter to the embassy, addressed to Brazil’s newly elected president, Jair Bolsonaro asking for support.
