The USNA Midshipmen were given ample opportunities to not only understand the functioning of INA, but to form bonds of friendship with INA cadets, the release said.
They also visited some places of historical and cultural interest in and around INA.
Naval cooperation between India and US epitomises the strong and resilient relationship between the two democracies, encompassing a wide span,which includes port calls,operational interactions, training visits along with capacity building and capability augmentation initiatives, the release said.
The visit of the USNA Midshipmen was a mutually satisfying and enriching experience for the young officers of both Navies and reaffirmed the universal truth that Oceans unite all nations, it said.
They left the INA on Saturday.
